Fafi Girls Dairy Goat

Fafi Girls Secondary School thought of rearing dairy goats to get milk for making tea for the girls in school so that they don't rely on imported powdered milk whose quality cannot be ascertained.
Dairy goats' production is much easier compared to large stock whose management requirement is immense particularly in terms of feeds, water, drugs, housing and land carrying capacity or land per animal unit.

PGI through IDRF purchased 5 Dairy Goats and they were taken to the school. DLPO is ensuring the goats have grass to feed on; and also provide the school with seedlings like Napier and Sudan grass.
